THE SYNERGY OF COMMUNICATION AND SURVEILLANCE

A COMPLETE SOLUTION

T.G.Baker (Sound) is a privately owned company that specialises in the design, provision, installation and maintenance of sound systems, Public Address Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems, CCTV systems, assistive listening systems, lighting and audio visual (AV) systems.

With European and British Standards constantly changing we constantly review and update our methodology to ensure that the latest requirements are implemented.

As a company, we pride ourselves in our capability to deliver solutions that satisfy all of the complexities within the European and British Standards, especially when dealing with Voice Alarm installations.

We Listen – Consultation and Planning

Today’s technology is changing daily and sometimes it can be extremely difficult for clients to know what products will meet their needs.

As a systems integrator, we like to be involved at the earliest stage to listen to and assist clients with their requirements. This ensures that the correct decisions are made early and that there are clear objectives for the solution.

Using 3D modelling software and acoustic modelling software (EASE) we also offer the facility to produce acoustic reports to verify design proposals and loudspeaker layouts.

We Apply – Design and Provision

T.G.Baker (Sound) is often required to design and build unique solutions.

During the design, stage products are carefully selected and supplied from leading major brands.

We have dedicated workshop facilities that will build equipment racks to meet the client specification and when necessary will fabricate items required using ‘off the shelf’ compliant components to ensure that the complete solution is achieved.

Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) can also be provided with complicated designs; this involves T.G.Baker (Sound) providing a detailed specific test document that can be used to verify that the workshop built system meets the client specification. This document is then “signed-off” by the client and the commissioning T.G.Baker (Sound) engineer.

We Care – Installation, Commissioning and Client Training

All systems are delivered directly to site and installed by our own highly trained engineers. This ensures that the system is installed exactly as the client intended.

During commissioning we will use certified and calibrated test equipment to ensure that the system performance is optimised and that the best possible solution is achieved.

Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) can also be provided with complicated designs; this involves T.G.Baker (Sound) providing a detailed specific test document that can be used to verify that the installed system meets the client specification. This document is then “signed-off” by the client and the commissioning T.G.Baker (Sound) engineer.

At the end of the project, T.G.Baker (Sound) will provide a complete document package including as fitted drawings, rack layouts and wiring diagrams, software, design files, operating and maintenance manuals.

During the handover period, T.G.Baker (Sound) engineers will provide in depth training to ensure that the client and their operatives are fully briefed as to the functionality, capabilities and use of the installed system.

We Achieve – Testing and Certification

Today it is imperative to comply with the relevant European and British Standards, codes of practice and system certification.

T.G.Baker (Sound) have all the necessary calibrated test equipment and fully trained engineers to carry out testing and certification of installed systems.

Where acoustic models were created during the design process we can validate the design and ensure that the end solution meets the proposed expectations.

We Maintain – Warranty Service and Maintenance

Post installation service is a very important aspect for T.G.Baker (Sound).

Following the system hand over we will provide a minimum warranty period of 12 months and in some cases longer depending on which supplier products were chosen.

Post warranty period we offer various bespoke maintenance packages to ensure that the installed system is routinely inspected, tested and when necessary certified.
